We have this business interview at school next week for which we need to dress formal. Now I do ofcourse have formal clothes but I couldn`t resist this opportunity to go shopping with my parents and receive new clothes. Unfortunately, it took a lot longer than expected because of my horrible body type.

Seriously, my hips-to-waist ratio is insane, my hips are way too big for my waist. Whenever something fits on my hips it`s about 3 sizes too big on my waist, and when something fits on my waist it`s about 3 sizes too small on my hips. It makes me pout, I wish I was normal and pretty *goes emo*

But after a long search I found a skirt which fit my hips and was only slightly too big on my waist (I usually wear skirts which close at the waist and are loose from this point on to avoid the issue all-together but that`s not a good business look) and a cute blouse. So I`m a happy bunny now.

I also made some new art stuff. A baby which is too creepy to show so I won`t but you can see it in on the digital art page (for now, until it freaks me out too much), a girl and some cutesie animals. Here are the girls and the animals:

I have a confession to make….I`ve been to New Moon….on the first day….you may slap me now.

To make things a bit better it was the most awful film I have ever seen in my entire life. And I`ve seen some pretty awful movies having a sister who`s amazing at finding awful movies. After reading and loving the book I was part of team Edward, big time. But after this movie I have switched to team Jacob. Every scene with Jacob was awesome (though the moment where he randomly ripped his shirt off to wipe some blood off Bella`s face was questionable) but every scene with the vampires made me cringe in shame. Their eyes were so bright golden that they nearly gave off light and when they ran they did it in slowmotion which made them look like baywatch actors.

The worst thing about it was Edward without a shirt though. God he looks AWFUL without his shirt *shudders* GO JACOB!!!

School has been rather busy lately, which is why I haven`t been able to blog much. Though I must admit part of it is caused by my new addiction to the sims 3 world adventures too. In this new expansion pack you can travel to China, Paris or Egypte and explore tombs by solving simple puzzles. It`s quite amusing ^_^

But yes…school… I`ve been back at school for two weeks now and it`s quite a boring semester so far. It`s about database systems, normalisation etc…and algebra, I don`t like algebra *ugh*

Anyway…here`s some art for you!

Hey everyone!

I`ve updated the about Melwen page since the character has been getting a bit more developed lately (it`s definitely not done yet though) and I have made a new character portrait of her. The new character portrait was mainly because I thought my 3d art skills have improved so I could make a better portrait but there are also some minor things I changed to her appearance while I had the change. E.g. I made her hair more honey coloured instead of very light.

Isn`t she lovely? I think she looks a _lot_ more realistic than the previous one did. And as Jacob so nicely put it ‘I like her better because she`s hotter’. Don`t we all want to be hot? *g*

I don`t know what else to blog about right now, just wanted to show you the new Melwen. I may edit this later when I think of something else to blog about, or I may not…who knows?!

Turns out my sister wasn`t being pure evil and ignoring my emails all day long after all, she`d just neglected to check her email the entire day because of her laptop being broken. (so technically she did ignore my email but I`ll forgive her since she had a reason to do so). So I called her with my cellphone – which I for once did not find a useless invention – and she decided to come shopping with me! whoooo!

So while waiting for her (mum had to pick up some food with the car before sis could use it to get to me)  I ate a billy-sandwich at the IKEA while watching the helicopters come and go from the hospital. It was quite amusing…except for the fact that it took sis over an hour to get there. But I forgive her for that too since mum was being very slow with picking up the food and too lazy to take her bike. BOO MUM.

There was an awesome guy playing the bagpipes in the city, he had a leopard print on his bagpipes. He was like…the pimp of pipers! But he got a bit creepy when we noticed he was EVERYWHERE. When we were at one end of the street he was standing there playing music. We were like ‘whooaa awesome’  and continued on shopping. A little while later we reached the other end of the street. And guess what? HE WAS THERE TOO. I suspect he teleports…which makes him even more awesome!

I bought some proper tea while we were shopping and it smells so good (with proper tea I mean tea leaves, not the less tasty variant that comes in teabags). And and and, I got a gorgeous steel book version of the movie Silent Hill, for only 10 euros. I think Silent Hill is a GENIUS movie so ofcourse, I couldn`t resist this offer.

When I got home I finally got some inspiration and time to make new art again so I bring to you – Bored Fairy and Bored Fairy closeup! *g*

Hey everyone! I highly doubt anyone but the people I poke here actually read this blog but I`ll continue doing so anyway, cause I rather enjoy being able to put my thoughts in words. It makes me think about them a lot less…too bad I can`t put anything private on here since you`ll always see that the people who you`re gossiping about will read the blog. Stuff like that always happens to me *g*

As you might have noticed, I changed the layout of the site a bit. I finally managed to think clearly and realised that I seriously wasn`t getting enough visitors to earn a proper amount out of the adsense and that they were probably only annoying people, so I removed them again. They may returns when I get more visitors. (According to my webstats I one day have 200 unique visits and another day 10…so it`s not very stable).

After a bit of analyses of seeing which link people clicked I discovered that a lot of people have a hard time finding my digital art page. I haven`t found a way to make it more obvious yet but I have found a way to show a bit of art on the main page. Below the polaroid there are now four random pieces of art I made, just to make them more accessible. I also divided the pieces on the digital art page into different albums since the page was already getting rather long with hardly any art on it, this way it`ll be a lot easier to manage.

Now I finished telling you about the changes to the site, let`s start the personal rambling…

I only have 6 more days of internship left, which means I`m nearly going to get some spare time again. I`m really really really looking forward to that. I didn`t realize how hard working 6 days a week full time would be. Actually, I didn`t realize it up to about two weeks ago. The first few weeks it didn`t tire me or wear me down but these days I`m really starting to notice that and I understand why people need two days of free time a week. I could sleep right now..I really could.

I also feel a strong urge to buy things so I want to go shopping, but my sister hasn`t responded to my email asking if she wanted to come shopping with me. She`s pure evil…EVIL I TELL YOU. I even tried luring her with the prospect of eating onion rings at the macdonalds (we LOVE onion rings). Maybe she`s just sleeping…I hope she`s just sleeping instead of ignoring me. Cause I`ll have to go slap her if she is ignoring me  *slaps* 8D Her laptop broke though, so maybe she`s just too lazy to get a different one…just like she`s too lazy to write on this blog…BOOOOOOO @ sister.  (Secretly I still love you though sis *g*).
