Nightshift 03.10.

Soooo, here is a new bloggie from not completely lucid me! Here, back in Holland it`s reaaaally late, 02.15 am to be exact and I`m at work.

This is my second and thankfully last nightshift in Assen, at a mental healthcare facility. And it`s soooo quiet. Luckily I have a co-worker with me, but there nothing to do… Everyone`s asleep, which is a very good thing, but still…

So here I am, coming to your computer to share my midnight musings.

Right now i`m sitting in the nurses station, but its very surreal because not only can I see everything that is happening on a large tv screen, there is also sound coming from the camera placed in the solitary confinement. So i`m sitting here, listening to someone breathing very loudly, which is a little haunting…

To take my mind of the slow ticking of the clock I`m making a beanie/hat right now, using my advanced and superior knowledge of crochet!

So my dear sister, an ugly, lumpy hat is coming your way! I`m thinking about including bear ears, although I doubt my sister would welcome that idea. I`m not really sure either, since the hat is rainbow coloured and kinda gaylike in appearance, and adding bear ears would make it a gay bear… OMG, thats is actually a grand idea! I`m adding them, whether she`ll like it or not…

Owh dear, this is the longest post i`ve ever written, and there`s still 5 hours to go!! Joyfull, joyfull… I`m really craving sleep right now, especially because the horse under my window prevented me from sleeping longer than five hours today, with its HORRIBLE shrieking! I mean really! A shrieking horse, i know he did that on purpose. Added to that the fact that he kept on shrieking for HALF AN HOUR, i`m not terribly fond of him anymore…

Things are sooo bad right now, i`m reading fanfiction… drarry fanfiction… I almost feel guilty… almost…

I just did a bedcheck, to see if everyone was still present and alive and when I pulled open the door to one of the rooms, i could have sworn it smelled just like my grandfather used to. But he`s been gone for around eleven years now. At the moment, it felt really comforting, now it makes me wonder, and a little sad… It`s weird, these things, isn`t it? Owh, and btw, everyone was still alive! Next check in three hours.

OOOH, it`s 5.30 and the hat is FINISHED! Now just the ears left to make, which i think i will be able to do this shift, and i will present this holy gift to mah sistah! Whom ofcourse, i lubses dearly!

OMG, the hat is finished!!! It`s 7.15 and i`m almost free to go! WootWoot!

That means i`m signing off right now, so byebye!

McKroket 02.10.

HMMMMmmmm I`m once again at my internship (am I ever not?!) and the construction workers have one again set something on fire. This time they managed to set a solid concrete pole on fire…like..wtf?! I suspect they start the fires themselves so they can roast marshmallows in their breaks. Which they had a lot. Breaks that is, not marshmallows…I don`t think I`ve ever seen them eat marshmallows. They might though, secretly.

I just had a tuna sandwich and it was good, but I want MORE. Damn I`m hungry. I still have a two mckroket for the price of one thingy though so I`m very tempted to get those now. But it would kill my hunger for dinner….hard decisions to make. *ponders*

PS: I pity you non dutch people whose mcdonalds does not have the mckroket, it`s a piece of heaven. A very very very greasy and tasty piece of heaven…hmmm

Costume elf 2010 part 2! 30.09.

I think I found a new favourite subject for my bloggies! My costume for the elf fantasy fair 2010! You remember my copy paste illustration? I just bought the first piece!

Yayness! It cost me a pretty penny for a shrug and its going to take a long time for it to arrive (its made to order), but i`m sooooo happy!

BTW, i found pretty perfect fangs!

Owh right, you didn`t know that yet. Were going dressed up as fangtasia vampires with bottles of true blood and flyers! Lame, right ?!??!!?

I stopped puking! 29.09.

Yes everyone, let`s start celebrating since I stopped puking! I still feel kinda crappy but a lot better than yesterday…I suspect sis` lovely watching-ghost-hunters-therapy cured me, so promise me you`ll do it more often to keep me healthy sis! I LOVE YOU!

I`m also completely in love with the costume she photoshopped – no…painted, I`m the photoshop one – together, so I want to get something slightly similar..probably not entirely similar though since that would be stealing her creativity. I THOUGHT I WAS THE CREATIVE ONE? I have obviously failed..I`ll go eat my triple choc cookie now *sighs*
